What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

We define this fitness as increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. What this means is that you have functional capacity in all different types of movements at a variety of durations of effort. If you are increasing this broad work capacity, you will be competent at both short bursts of activity and extended, longer workouts. No single test can adequately assess these broad capacities. Even our rigorous two-day CrossFit Games can assess but a small portion of anyone's true capacity.

But, it is our considered opinion that the CrossFit Games are the best test on the planet for true, elite fitness, and that the winners of the CrossFit Games are the World's Fittest humans.

Dexion Ice Hockey League Finals 2009


this might come as a surprise to some of yall, but yes, we do play ice hockey (and we also have a pretty good national team) here in Malaysia. although at the moment there's only ONE ice rink in this whole damn country (*hint*hint* sports ministry), but the response to the sport itself has grown tremendously over the years. we even have our very own Gary Tan, the only malaysian coach certified by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). who would've thought huh?.. well being a player myself, i definitely recommend ice hockey to you adrenaline junkie, speed demon, and tough guy types.. nerdy folk?.. u might wanna try figure skating...

CrossFit @ Pushmore

seems at this day and age everyone's becoming increasingly health conscious. this is quite evident just by the number of "franchise" like fitness centres thats been popping up like mushrooms all over the place. i myself used to frequent one of these fitness centre chains, and like most people are in the beginning, i was hyped up and dedicated to the cause. wasn't but 2 months into it that i found myself feeling demotivated and even bored (you'll know when u get to this stage when you start giving yourself 101 excuses not to go). needless to say, i quit not long after and told myself that  maybe this whole excercising and working out thing is just not for me. that was until my housemate brought me to Pushmore Fitness Centre and introduced me to CrossFit, where a mix of gymnastics, weightlifting and metabolic conditioning are used to forge elite fitness.
